Hi guys, I’ve been speaking to a guy for a while and today he said out the blue the below messages…

I’m sorry it is just the whole situation that is too much! I’m really sorry for how I’ve treated you that was wrong of me my feelings are genuine but it has all become too much

I’m sorry but this isn’t working for me. The whole situation is hot, cold constantly it’s too much for me and I’m sorry. I don’t think we should continue this

I’m not sure what he means, am I too much or the situation I don’t know what’s going on in his head, I just responded okay no problem… I don’t want him to see I care but I do but what on earth does he means by it’s too much?

Hard to say. From my assumptions it sounds as though you’re the difficult one. Like you’re giving him signals as to liking him than you pull back. Maybe you made out w him one night the the next night he tries to make out w you again to which you turn him down. But from what he’s saying w out more context it sounds like you’re the one who’s making things difficult. Am I wrong? Are you a difficult person?

It means you're too much. you don't go all in and are constantly shifting from one side to the other wile not making a choice.
