Was he trying to impress me?

So a few days ago, my brother had some friends over. I was taking photos with my camera for fun (not of anything in particular though) and one of them was in the kitchen with me. I’m not sure where the others were but they’re not really important to the story. Anyways, as I’m adjusting my camera settings, he turns to ask me (I was behind him) “do you want to split a mango?” Before I could reply, he, while staring at me, takes a chefs knife and tries to cut the mango in half without looking. When the mango only makes it part of the way through, he says something like ‘aww it didn’t work.’ I just say something to him like ‘don’t worry. Also that’s a chefs knife so be careful.’ I told this to my friend who thinks he was trying to impress me but I myself am not so sure.

I'm guessing he knows nothing about mangos as there is a hard seed in the middle that you can't cut through. You have to very carefully cut the yummy flesh away around the seed, they get very slippery making it difficult which why you need to be very careful not to cut yourself. If he was trying to impress you I'd say he failed drastically. You're very gorgeous so I can understand why a guy would want yo be near you and try to impress you.

Anything is possible & I think he was trying something & maybe love is in the air. Time will tell & if you really want to know if he likes you have your brother invite him over again & maybe you two can share a mango

I mean it could have been all in good fun I don’t know his mindset. But I would say there’s a chance he is attracted. My question is how do you feel about him?
