Eye contact question?

At what point is eye contact passing “just being nice”. I have had some occasions with a friend where when we are talking it’s just solid eye contact. I am actually not used to that level of eye contact, to me it’s just rock solid staring while talking. It’s happened a couple of times. Sometimes it’s like no one else is around even though we are at a table with other people. He’s smiling and talking with me. But at what point is it something more how do you gauge that time? I find myself breaking it only for it to just snap right back.

It's tricky to say for sure from eye contact alone sis. But in this case, it def sounds a bit more intense than just friendly chatting! That level of unbroken eye contact, like y'all are in your own little world even around others is pretty intimate body language.

A few things that may indicate he's feeling you:
- Does he hold the gaze a bit longer than usual when you do make eye contact? Guys into us tend to linger.
- Does he smile bigger at you than other people? Like noticeably so.
- Does his face seem more open and attentive when looking at you?
- Does he mirror your posture or lean in closer as well? That's a big clue they wanna be nearer!

If it's happening a lot without effort on your part to maintain, that's a great sign he's really into learning more about you from those eye discussions, if ya know what I mean lol.

My advice is next time you feel that intense connection, smile back soft and maybe play with your hair a little bit. Flirt right on back sis and see how he responds!
