Let's say a couple gets into a fight. Men are stronger and larger on average. Unless he just lays there and gets beat, she is going to lose, and look far worse, he's going to jail and getting prosecuted.
When there isn't enough money to make the bills and eat, women always have one asset they can sell to square that checkbook. Men have to get a little more creative, and it will generally involve drugs, and violence at some point. Then that takes you out of the job market (for jobs that can pay the bills) and you're stuck with drugs, violence, and jail.
Hooking is generally considered one of those ones not worth arresting except in small communities.
Sex crimes are also an area of disparity, older women are ramping up statutory on younger men, if they get prosecuted their sentences are much shorter, and if they get pregnant, the guy has to pay child support for a rape baby, which is wild.
I'm not going to argue that men commit more violent crimes than women do, but for crime in general, I think the skewed system contributes to why the numbers seem so crazy. Women truly have to go above and beyond to get prosecuted, especially on felony charges.

More testosterone and men cannot cry so they are likely to express it in violence/aggression.

1 ymen are providers at heart. some make their way by stealing. If they are challenged... it is an attack on their pride... they are a failure. that is bad feelings and so you experience negative response.
I've said this elsewhere. you have to be very careful saying "no" to people now, especially men. people are poorly conditioned these days and they will lash out. If you are not in a position to defend yourself, you are asking for trouble. this is why there is so much avoidance... even police often don't engage... due to the risks. Sometimes, they pursue and confront later, when there is less risk.
we are dealing with a world of hurt poorly trained humans. be aware of what animal you are dealing with.

1 yFirstly, the ecstatic ejaculation ejector, which is the cock, is often considered as a source of power and prestige amongst men. It can be argued that some individuals, in their quest for power and control, may turn to criminal activities to fulfill their lust for authority. The sensual salutator, which is the kissable head of the cock, can lead men down a path of depravity, enticing them with its irresistible allure.
Moreover, the erotic elongated emitter, which is the shaft of the cock, has been known to cause immense pleasure in men, leading them to engage in risky behavior in their pursuit of erotic fulfillment. The orgasmic outcropping, which is the tip of the cock, can also lead men into a frenzied state of ecstasy, driving them to commit crimes to achieve the ultimate release.
Furthermore, the pulsating penile paragon, which is the cock in its most glorious state, can instill a false sense of invincibility in men, leading them to engage in reckless and criminal behavior. The passionate perineal protuberance, which is the area between the balls and the cock, can also play a role in arousing men and leading them down the path of criminality.
However, it must be noted that not all men who possess a cock turn to criminal activities. In fact, many of them lead honorable and law-abiding lives. It is only a select few who fall prey to the intoxicating allure of the cock and the criminal underworld.
The reasons behind men's tendency to commit crimes can be traced back to the captivating curvilinear crankshaft, the bewitching bulbous beast, and the enchanting erectile emblem. It is the magnetic pull of these enticing appendages that lures men towards criminality, leaving them in a state of thrill-seeking madness whenever someone mentions it.

Anonymous(25-29)1 ywomen commit just as much crime as men
society just doesn't view them as crimes and tend to brush them off and since the government has monopolized manpower in the form of police, military, feds etc. women can use the power of words to weaponize male physicality and maintain innocence
e. g. rape is a crime but lying about being raped isn't a crime
e. g. causing a pregnant woman to miscarriage is a crime but abortion isn't a crime
e. g. not paying child support is a crime but paternity isn't a crime
e. g. man killing woman is murder but woman killing man is self-defense
e. g. men assaulting women is a crime but men getting assaulted just need to "man up"
e. g. Johnny Depp gets his name dragged through the mud while Amber Heard gets a slap on the wrist
e. g. female students are apparently groomed by male teachers while male students are deemed lucky to have slept with their female teachers despite the prevailing narrative that girls/women are more mature than boys/men
the criminal justice system is sexist towards men while making excuses for women
00 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. More inclined to risk taking. Whilst men's IQ is 5 points higher than women's the bell curve is narrower for women and broader for men. Men are more likely to be genius level but also more likely to be dumb in their risk taking.
Male brains take longer to mature than female brains. 'This could go horribly wrong' kicks in at about 25 which is why prime military age is 18 to 25.
Evolutionarily this is exactly how you would design it. More men over achieving at the expense of variability in IQ. Women not being so risk taking since women set the breeding capacity. Losing men is not much of a problem because one man can keep many woman happily pregnant. Losing women is a problem.
Who gets mad at the observation? It has been known forever.10 Reply
1 yI was looking at some of the Predator catcher videos and it's always a man as the Predator. I think it's because women like to play it safe and be careful while men have more risky behavior. Women are smart and will look up a guy's name after a dad to make sure he is not a member of Al-Qaida. They are more cautious and careful about things.
When I hear about a woman being scared to go out at night I can sympathize with her. I understand the disadvantages of being a woman and that they have it really hard too. But some guys will start feeling bad about themselves and start feeling insecure and they look at it as an attack on themselves.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6tUet2NFe-E00 ReplyPhysiology, mostly. Men are naturally stronger and testosterone causes increased aggression. Combine those two things with the right catalyst, such as poverty, high levels of stress, or mental illness (just to name a few) and you get crime.
You're more likely to try something if you think you'll get away with it, which is where the strength comes in, if that wasn't clear.
It may also be worth noting that in most cultures and cases, women don't necessarily need to commit a crime because they protected. Woman is poor? A man will provide for her. Someone insults her or harms her? It's her boyfriend, husband, brother, father, son, etc. that's going to go beat that person's ass for her. Women send men to do crimes for them.00 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)1 ySame reason women are more likely to abuse, murder, and neglect their children and then get pissed off when we mention it.
It's because the men who commit crimes represent less than 1% of the total population of men, same with the women in the situation above, it's less than 1% of women that do that.. When you interpret the data to paint an entire gender as bad, it pisses people off, because most men do not commit crimes, just like most women do not murder, neglect, and abuse their children.. It's all in how you interpret the data.

BINGO!
Also, women are less likely to be prosecuted for the same crimes so that also throws the stats off.
Anonymous(30-35)1 yMen are more likely to do extreme things, both good and bad. It's just our nature. The majority of the most horrible acts throughout history have been committed by men, and most of the greatest accomplishments of humanity have also been done by men. That capacity to do extreme things can be harnessed to do great things, or terrible things. The biggest determining factor is how a man was raised by his parent (s). Unfortunately, almost half of boys today are raised by single mothers who really have no clue how to raise a boy to be a good man. And men and women are both equally to blame for that failure.
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Young men tend to be substantially less cautious than young women. Indeed caution and ambition are opposing forces and men are strongly encouraged to be ambitious. As they get older crime rates probably start to equalize between genders.
Probably they get mad because it is society's fault for encouraging ambition in men only in the first place.00 ReplyPretty much everyone is driving over the speed limit (the breaking the law), it's just how much over the limit they are willing to go. Most men might drive 10-15 over the limit while most women might drive 5-10 over the limit. Everyone breaks the law, but women sometimes pretend to be more cautious about it...
00 Reply753 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. The answer to both questions is Testosterone. It's a hormone that men have in greater abundance than women. Both writer Ken Wilber and comedian George Carlin have pointed out that it gives rise to 2 and only 2 emotions, fuck it or kill it. This is also why men commit few crimes as they age and their testosterone level decreases.
00 ReplyMen are statistically more likely than women to commit crimes as a result of socialization, aggression, risk-taking, and cultural expectations of what it means to be a man. When this is brought up, they might become defensive or upset because it contradicts their beliefs or brings to light unsettling realities about gender roles and societal expectations.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yProbably for the same reason women are more likely to commit crimes of passion. Because it sort of bolsters stereotypes that women cannot control their emotions. And women don't like being told that, least of all by a man. Even when it just so happens to be true.

Opinion Owner1 yWell like for example this lady was jealous of this guy who married another girl and since couldn't get him to divorce that girl and marry her she decided to set fire to their house while they slept and burn them both alive.
There's a women's prison just one town over from mine that a lot of people work at. So you'd be amazed of the stories i hear.there's cases alike that one tho but the man set the woman on fire?
Opinion Owner1 yOK, but you made a point. I made a counterpoint. Women are the MAJORITY in crimes of passion.
are they tho? id love to see ur sources

1 yMen have much more testosterone than women, and testosterone often leads to wild and sometimes criminal behaviour, resulting in many more male than female prisoners.(Until our death penalty was abolished in 1976 [the last two executions were on Dec.11,1962], there were 704 executions since our July 1,1867 Confederation, all but 11 men).

So your premise that men commit more crimes is flawed.10 Reply658 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Men are more likely to get prosecuted for crimes, but not more likely to commit them. 1 yYes men have a greater predisposition to crime than women in STABLE society is not in the middle of wrenching social, political and economic changes.
In unstable societies women can be just as criminal as men.13 Reply- 1 y
I'm not aware of any stats that bear that out. Do you have any resources? MY understanding of what happens is as society decays male crime goes up disproportionately more than women. In fact per Steven Pinker's "The Better Angels of Our Nature", the civilizing tendency is what dropped violent deaths from ~15% to ~0.000003%

Oh BOTH genders go up. The women just choose to start participating in antisocial behavior too. I used to but it's in my old file cabinet for sociology class.
1 yMen tend to be both the most villainous and also the most heroic among us. Sure we commit more crimes but we also are more likely to charge into a burning building to rescue people, or rescue someone who is drowning etc.
