Trending & News I know a lot of people will blame hormones but I’m not convinced that’s the reason.

It's similar to why this is a "man's" world
In the beginning, men were hunters and women were gatherers.
The world view that creates are totally different. Women spent thousands of years being in a position where survival wasn't trivial. If you wanted to live / not be raped, you needed a man who had high status. Status for a vast majority of human history was decided by how deadly a man could be in the best interest of his community.
Now I believe a woman's attraction is moving towards recognizing a man's emotional intelligence and self awareness because the danger profile has changed.
But for men, we are always competing with eachother for status and violence has only in the last 100 years or so become minority in usefulness. But it will always be the most powerful threat that guides action. Everyone ultimately responds to the threat of violence. And men are more phisologically capable of trading in this field.
It's been proven that in some cultures at certain points in human history women were hunters.
It's not about putting down women. It's about where masculinity and feminity take their strength from. In alchemy, it was often characterized by the sun and the moon.
there's a biological factor, yes... but it is NOT the hormones, it is the parts of the brain, which regulate emotions and response, men are more prone to being impulsive to the point of losing control and becoming more violent
and the rest... is more about conditioning, one way or another... and in many situations too, men are pushed, and expected into physicality, competition and aggressiveness
one good example of this conditioning and these responses in the brain would be football soccer, the sport...
when you train young boys and/or guys/men and you tell them to be way more physical, more aggressive, and to commit faults and also cheat, in order to get ahead and advantage and win... you always find a few who are willing to do it, some are happy to do it, and then some who refuse to do it... end up doing it anyway, if it leads to a win
when you train young girls and or women... and you tell them to do the same, the response is a lot less... there are very few or none willing to do it, most refuse to do it because certain parts of the brain are wired a bit differently
so, it is the conditioning of this key difference... the control of impulsiveness in the brains
A majority of violent crime is committed by men. This is a known fact.
Is it because of biology? No, it’s because of social conditioning.
Men and women are brought up differently, they face different challenges and when they fail they cope differently. Men who tend to resort to violent crime are often men who have either:
1) never had to cope with failure on that scale and experience a violent episode
2) have become so comfortable with the social conditioning that encourages men to be violent that they don’t see it as a problem
3) are in a very desperate place and feel they have no choice but to be violent
4) simply lack control of their emotional responses as they’ve never been taught how to manage negative emotions on a large scale
And I attribute all of this to the social conditioning of a patriarchal society that highly encourages specific roles, ideas, and acts to be distributed to and expressed by only one gender rather than everyone.
Well if there are two people and one is really good at something and the other is really bad at it, and it’s not something you can just learn to do better easily, won’t the one who is good at it do it a lot more than the one who is not? Like for example if one person is a great singer and another is not, I think the one who is great at singing will do a lot more singing.
I think that is the main reason, guys are just way bigger stronger faster, which makes them better at fighting. They may not be better at specific things like, I guess women could shoot guns as well but it still puts you in a mode where guys prob think most fights are winnable and girls think fights are something to avoid bc we will probably lose. And then I think that basic opinion carries through to all the specifics.
I do not mean every guy and every girl but the question is about “more” not “100 percent” and, I think what I am saying is most of the explanation. JMO!

I think hormonal reasons have been debunked already, but a source would be welcome.
I could talk about social imitation, since our past and present criminality is already gendered then it influences each new generation of males?
I could talk about brotherhoods centered around criminality, this kind of social organization is romanticized or celebrated in various ways, gangs, mafia, cartel, terrorist groups?
I could talk about psychoscial conditioning where, as a boy, you're more or less conditioned to operate with attack more than defense. Which could put you in more situations of escalation than women?
Ain't it obvious? Evolution? And society though society be a product of that evolution so evolution.
Men for humans we're evolved to be hunters, and be more violent. Same reason why Black Widows males aren't with the women one's being more deadly and aggressive. It's all a matter of how our evolution went. And due to ours going males are more so we commit more crime as well a lot of that trained evolve behavior isn't used as much compared to the past.
Living the way we do an average man does not get to express being violent without it breaking the law most of the time, and it's not a thing we recognize it's a psychological block in our mind. As we are taught to not be so but at the same time we were made to be leaving to conflictions in our growing as a person, and sometimes it's more noticeable than not, and sometimes it ends up badly.
I think men are just more naturally inclined to solve problems directly. What more direct way to solve problems than with raw force?
It's often more effective than peaceful solutions anyway so I don't know what everyone's complaining about.
We need more violence in this rotting society.
I always attributed men’s violence to the fact that they are literally born with a higher and different sent of hormone, they also have the kill gene. Which at a point when the world was more primitive was a great way of nature picking its strongest. Now that the world isn’t as primitive, men don’t necessarily need the kill gene anymore, but it’s still in them, hence certain patterns of aggression. That’s just my theory though.
They dont. They tend to take the fall for women in many regards. But it's also due to the legal system treating women perps more lenient than male ones.
women are more verbal and males more physical. add alcohol and it gets dangerous.
something with the brain, training
It's multifactorial given our increased testosterone, societal conditioning, systemic factors, and more.
According to the wording of your question, it's not even debatable. It's a proven statistic over and over again. There's no debate about it. What point are you trying to make?
because women are viewed as the "fairer sex" and therefore allowed to get away with it
it wouldn't surprise me given that men don't tend to press charges because it's considered "unmanly" to do so and women who commit murder on men can claim plausible deniability on their part e. g. "he tried to rape me so I defended myself"
not to mention women circles also tend to have a no snitching rule whenever there is wrongdoing within their groups
There is plenty of research done in regards to hormones and behavior. You not believing in something doesn't make it less true lol.
Most guys are not violent. It’s only those pushed to the edge of the scales that commit the most violent acts.
Why mostly guys are in prison
Going into more details if you are curious: https://youtu.be/Fx4DJ21B-3M
I go by whet he mentioned as I haven’t studied the data
I am certainly not misandrist. I think it is predominantly testosterone.
Because women largely don't need to. Women are physically weak so they learn to use guile. And why commit crime when you can dupe a stupid man to do it for you?
Men are definitely more violent, I think this is a product of evolution.
im a coward can't even harm a single ant without feeling bad
Its hormones but also its the way your raised coupled with the environment
Testosterone my dear. It's not "blaming," that is the reason.
There’s no proof of that.
Being on criminal statistics is not proof of criminal behavior. Not being on those statistics is not proof that no crimes have been committed.
Thanks to extensive research on profiling, we know that black people are much more likely to be arrested, tried and convicted compared white people who commit the exact same crimes. Similarly we know that for every interaction with law enforcement men are more likely than women to be arrested. For every arrest men are more likely to be jailed and charged. For every charge men are more likely than men to be tried. For every trial men are more likely than women to be convicted. And for every conviction for identical crimes men are likely to receive far harsher sentences than women.
This is proof of profiling, not crime.

This is the most extensive amalgamation of intimate partner violence research ever compiled. Therein we learn that domestic violence rates are highest in lesbian relationships and lowest in relationships between gay men. Thanks to Erin Pizzey, we’ve known for decades that the vast majority of abusive heterosexual relationships are mutually abusive and the rare cases in which the abuse is strictly one sided, women are most often the abuser. This information has led to changes in how law enforcement conducts their investigations into domestic violence and increasing rates of women being arrested for violence. In turn, perceptions about women’s propensity for violence is slowly changing. We’re seeing women arrested for violent crimes far more often. Strongly supporting the understanding that in past decades women were simply getting away with murder, literally. Not that they weren’t committing violent crimes. Furthermore, historical evidence shows that queens were far more likely to initiate military conflict than their male counterparts.
Additionally it was clear that queens were far less likely to seek peaceful resolution to existing conflicts than their male counterparts.
In short, the overwhelming and growing evidence suggests that women are just as likely to commit violent crimes as men. They’ve simply been much more likely to get away with it in the past. All you have is evidence of profiling. There is NO evidence that men are more likely to commit violent crimes.
It's because of women.
T-E-S-T-O-S-T-E-R-O-N-E !!!
Why is that
Maybe because men can't accept themselves with who theya are
