Guys, Eye contact/body language attractive?

Hii so let me start off by saying that I didn't really know how to word that question because I've been really interested in this topic lately because we briefly talked about it in one of my classes in university and I got really invested. And since I've also been seeing this a lot on social media and so on I wanted to hear your opinions on this one.

Obviously men and women find different things attractive but when it comes to eye contact I've heard that a lot of people struggle to keep it up (especially with people they find attractive). But when there's a man talking to a women he finds attractive and struggles to keep eye contact, it can appear as really unattractive to the women. But when we put the same scenario the other way around tho, I had a male friend of mine tell me that men rather find that exact behavior attractive in women.

I'd actually love to read some surveys or anything related based off of that and hear ur opinion on that!

Eye contact is generally attractive (and when its not attractive its threatening). This is why guys shy away from staring into attractive womens eyes, there is a chance, if she's not being attracted but happening to be someone who just looks intently at everyone, she will feel threatened, concerned or even repulsed by prolonged unwelcomed eye contact. So, guys will tend to break contact for fear that its unwelcome. However, if a deep and genuine smile accompanies the eye contact, along with an attempt to regain the eye contact after its broken. Most guys will become bolder and stare (though, some guys lack confidence as they aren't typically looked at in such a way and might break it again anyway).

It's complicated. Its also very individualistic. I encountered a guy that would uncomfortably stare into everyones eyes (much like a baby unable to take its eyes of a mother or father figure) knowing this person was very uncomfortable (though they seemed oblivious to this fact, and other friends also commented on it privately).

Correct if she doesn't keep eye contact, it is a turn off. But a lady doesn't usually expect eye contact so we can look around except at another lady.
