Guys, why do you share your drink with a girl?

There's this guy I've recently became friendly with. He does not hesitate to share his drink with me and would even give me the first sip. He even gives me his water. Why do you think he does that?

Well, I'm pretty cynical, if you share your drink with a girl you're showing her beyond a doubt that it isn't roofied. Also making sure she isn't going to take advantage of you.

Though that doesn't track with the example you're giving, y'all didn't meet in the club for a ONS. Maybe it just feels more intimate with him, or he doesn't like washing dishes, who knows.
