It would depend how he put his hands on me. I'm not a small guy. And experience has taught me most guys don't want to fight the just want a show of strength to make themselves look tough. And personally I don't care what most think of me. I'll let him have that if he feels he needs that. But if he punches me or I think he means to do me harm he better make that punch count. Because I'm not tough, but I don't quit either. You're going to have to knock me out. And so far I've only met one guy who's managed to do that.😆

Not exactly you're question, but men and women put hands on each other at a high rate. Something like 50% of relationships claim there's been intimate partner violence. A woman slapping a man, or a man pushing a woman, etc. So it's really a common phenomenon. Some even argue if you don't get physical with your spouse it's a sign that you don't care. I don't know about all that, but I presume based on stats it's quite common and as long as it's not overly severe it doesn't matter that much.
