Guys sending random pics?

Why do guys you're talking to online, i. e discord or reddit, who have known you for a while start sending you random pics of the dinner they ordered when eating out, the scenery they're looking at while sitting on a beach, pics of what they are doing, pics of beautiful buildings or their dog etc. I'm not talking about sexual pics.
I'm happy they do, it's really cute, but girls don't do this. So why is this?

That's true, but those ig stories are for everyone to see, while they send those pics directly to me. But then again, he could be sending them to all his friends.

Could be, it's usually the ones who you talk to almost daily, and there's usually a bit deeper connection, but not too much.
