Definitely not. Some do, but guys like all different eye and hair colors. Many prefer Mediterranean and Latin girls. Some like pale skin and dark hair. Some like Asian or black women.
I'd say that the majority of guys like dark-colored hair.

I have Irish ancestry, so maybe that's why I do like blondes and redheads with pale skin. Those traits combine nicely with blue or green eyes. But eye color isn't something I care much about.

I have had girlfriends with various colors of hair and eyes.
One was a cute as can be Mexican.
Others had various shades of brown hair and brown eyes.
There was one with strawberry-blonde hair, green eyes and a flawless peaches and cream complexion with a few freckles across her nose.
A German girl who I wound up loving with all my heart had light-blonde hair, blue eyes and a flawless, cream-colored complexion with pink undertones.

The woman I married has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes.

So I doubt if many guys are hung up on blondes with blue eyes.

I married her. That says quite a bit. And we've been happily married now for 28 years, had LOTS of fun, and built a wonderful life together.

Men like women. All the adjectives are a distant second. I think most men don't really care that much about hair color. They may like a certain color, but it has little bearing on who they end up with.

Personally I have always preferred dark brown or black hair, with dark brown or black eyes. But ironically most of the women I've dated were natural blondes. It's just random chance on who I met and hit it off with. It has never played any part whatsoever in who I dated.

We all have our preferences. At the end of the day I'm not going to bother myself over a man who chooses a woman for just 1 preference, alone, and a preference that is, well, in all honesty, vain and fleeting. Everybody eventually gets old... and I don't want to stick to a person who would rather choose that person for that 1 reason, at that moment because it's convenient for him.

One questions oneself if dating such a man is feasible or whether it is worth one's time to consider dating to eventually being in some commitment with such a man. If he can't overlook his preference, well, I'm all too willing to let the man go and see for himself whether or not he made the right choice for himself. I'd wish him good luck, as a friend, of course, but not much more after that and likely won't consider him as a marriage prospect anytime soon.

no. guys don't really give that much of a fuck about colors in general. men care more about shapes. colors are a woman thing. it's evolution. that's why women are typically actually better at distinguishing colors.

cause men had to catch prey. so movements, patterns and shapes are important. women would collect berries and mushrooms so colors are vital for survival.

This is so funny. Studies have shown that men with lighter eyes prefer women with lighter eyes for marriage and also rate them as more attractive whereas women showed no such preference

There's a huge difference between "a study" and scientific consensus. There's studies that pretty much say anything you like. And lots of them turn out to be wrong and flawed, specially if its a "study" that you find on sites like buzzfeed

I happen to be in social science. These studies have sample sizes of the ones discussed in the study far under 1000 people. One doesn't even 100. That's what the "n" number means. These aren't studies large enough to even remotely claim representativeness.
