He asked me not to speak to anyone and he would do the same. Then after two weeks I noticed he changed his photos of the marriage app we met on. I confronted him. He said he only changed them because he liked them but doesn’t mean he’s talking to anyone. Which I said can’t be true. He said I’m on it too but he doesn’t say I’m using it since I noticed his photos. I said yes I was checking if he’s updated his profile. I wished him best of luck. Were I too harsh? Or it can’t be true? It doesn’t make sense to change photos on the app that we don’t use

Nah go with your gut. If he's supposedly not active on it yet changing his photo it's because he's talking to someone, or at least looking too.
