I keep hearing the word abuse thrown around. Men understand that we need to be of use. What do women feel the use of a wife is?

Women most likely believe being a wife means she gets to tell her husband what to do all of the time and he must do it otherwise he is a bad husband. Meanwhile the husband has to work his ass off while she is also working and give her his money while she is working for her own anyway plus he has to be the one to protect and die for her. Being a husband isn’t worth it and less men should be getting married until women start pulling their weight

Sounds idealistic. Being of use is what makes people valuable. If you had no skills... you wouldn't have a job. If you have nothing to offer... you are of no value and are just a parasite.

That's why I asked the question. If abuse is defined as improper use of something... then I'm curious what women think the proper use of a wife is.

Yeah... both of which you seem to have a problem with. It still doesn't change the fact that to be of use, or a more feel good word for you... service or duty... exists and is paramount in a relationship.

duty... is for contract

if that's how you see it for your relationship, then maybe that is why it worked for you and your relationship... other people see things differently
