Told my work crush that just like at work he can message me and he just turns and blankly looks at me and says okay?

Before we never interacted or spoke to one another unless it was work related and I was in a relationship but after my break up and a month after he started to be more interested in talking and I as well getting to know one another started slow then it started picking up and it would be him initiating the conversation having reasons to come near me and showing me things with his phone getting hair cuts putting lotion on before coming near me. Well an opportunity came up for me at the same company at another location so I’m trying it out well he is training me and we have started getting close also slightly getting close to me and accidentally touching hands but today was the last day of training and I said just like at work you can message me and he just looks at me and says okay his face was just blank as in not expecting me to say that all in all after becoming single he honestly became a different person twords me I guess a boy likes girl scenario and me as well girl likes boy we just stare at each other when talking or catch each other looking at the other what does it mean I hope y'all understand if not just ask me any questions

Well I spoke with my other coworker and was telling her how he has changed the way he is around me and so she was like okay he is just like that. So I told her he was never like that with me for the whole year and few months I’ve worked there not once has he acted the way he is now twords me … so she said well start dressing up more so I did dressing up, wearing make up and doing my hair spending time on my appearance… so the whole question about his haircut he never got his hair cut and care

About his appearance I say that because he honestly didn’t until I started to care about my appearance. Even on my last few days would be close to me and look at me more and and randomly touch hands. Before he would say sorry but then stopped.
