My crush sent me a follow request out of nowehere?

ok so this begins back 3 years ago in 2021. i had just joined this tuition for maths because i was failing in maths miserably, so a guy used to come there. he was 2 years older than me. over time, i developed a huge crush on him. he was very popular in his school being good at both studies and sports. so, i sent him a follow request on instagram (i was scared to approach him offline) and texted him about how i am in his tuition and i like him, however, out of embarrassment i deleted the text. he accepted my request but did not follow me back. after some time i got to know that he has a girlfriend ans is loyal to her. so, i thought not to interefere in their relationship and unfollowed him to move on. now, almost like 3 years later, literally out of no fucking where, i saw that he sent me a follow request, and it's literally so shocking for me i still cannot believe it, because it was very very sudden. but i'm wondering, why did he even send a follow request literally out of nowhere? we never used to talk even in tuition and he left the tuition like 2 years ago. and the other fact is that i'm feeling very happy and giddy and shit. what do you guys think? why he must've done that? and what is happening to me
