This girl I crushed on in HS always had awkward interactions, but something about her makes her the most beautiful woman in the world to me, I don't know what it is. Her “aura” in general I suppose. She even gave me her number years ago, which I no longer have. But it always was awkward and conversations lead nowhere.

Ao she became single again at some point, I don't know when. I figured I’d shoot my shot. I used my best pick up line, and I have a good punchline too, but I realize my message may have actually misleading, and I’d like some opinions. I’ll give the punchline so you can at least see where it’s going: “Can I ask you a stupid question?”
“If you were a pizza topping, what would you be and why? “ and then I make some joke depending on what they say. “Wanna guess mine?”
They usually do. “Well I think I’d be mushroom”
