Does my coworker like me or not?

Please help me to decypher whether he likes me or not.

Things he does that makes me think he's interested:

  • very good eye contact, his face lights up when we lock eyes, greets me very cheerfully compared to others
  • tries to find a reason to be near me or to chat with me
  • does things so I notice him/pay attention to him (especially when we are in a meeting etc)
  • added me first on WhatsApp (and we've talked pretty much every single day since then), hearts my messages a lot, sends lengthy texts and replies very fast
  • said I made him say stuff he wouldn't normally say to anyone due to lack of trust
  • Sends me photos of random things (what he cooked/baked, his flowers, stuff he has at home)
  • we've spent whole night chatting and said he wished he knew he could talk to me like this earlier
  • Texts first a lot and overall shares stuff with me

Thing he does that makes me think he isn't (it's one thing but I'd say a major one):

  • Lack of interest in getting to really know me. If he texts me about his morning or things he's planning to do and I text him about mine, he hearts my message and usually tends to go back to talk about his stuff, rarely ask any follow-up questions about my day or my plans. While he does texts first, sends lots of emojis, replies fast and writes very lengthy messages, I sense he likes to talk about himself and is just happy somebody is willing to listen

I'd like to know your opinions since I don't really know what to think of this because in person he acts like he likes me (at least I'd interpret it that way) but when we text the lack of interest lately makes me doubt it. Before anyone says "don't shit where you eat", we see each other like 3 times per month due to having different shifts so this shouldn't be an issue.
