Maybe he is thinking as to whether to smile or puke before approaching you. If he does approach you that isn't a bad thing. On the other hand, indecisive guys aren't always a good thing either. Best advice, don't go with either and give up dating for a while. That way you won't be puzzled by any guy's behavior.
