Here is why I would ask you for those opinions. I'm not gay and have no idea what women like. I can't even tell if another guy is a good-looking guy.

So I basically NEED the female opinion or else I'll show up looking like I'm about to go on a hunting expedition to kill werewolves. All I know is chicks like my muscles and my huge dick, my humor and intellect, but when it comes to other things... I don't know what you like. I need you to tell me what they like.

I hope my answer helps inform you of the situation guys like me are in. Believe it or not... some of us are not metro fem boys that are one step away from being a broke back mountain fanboy. Fashion is a topic that is foreign to me. I only know utility when I look at clothes.

He may trust your judgement and is buying a gift for his SO if he is asking about items for women. If he asks you about his own clothing and perfume, but may be fishing for compliments and hoping you like him.

It could mean a number of things. It could mean he’s looking for a gift for someone, maybe his girlfriend that he’s asking you. Especially if his girlfriend is similar in age. If he’s getting something like cologne maybe he wants to see if you think it smells good, thus assuming she will like it as well. He may be asking your opinion cause he wants to meet someone so if you as a female could increase his chances of meeting someone by suggesting how to dress, what colognes women like, etc. It could also he that he likes you, so he may get your opinion as far as a cologne he can wear knowing that you like it a lot.
