What does it mean when a male coworker regularly stares at you from a distance and then quickly looks down when you caught their gaze?

Other times he will lock eyes with at the meeting (when not talking) and it feels like a deep gaze. It feels like it’s happening more and more. He is hot though, so I don’t mind.

But the other day. He was taking to two girls which seemed a bit flirty, he’s more serious with me. I felt a bit jealous, is this to make me jealous, he's a player or just friendly? Confused!
