matched with a guy i met on an online dating app, he turned out to be from the same university as me, we still continued to talk. he asked me out on a date. we were both looking for something casual and fun, started talking for a while and then finally met. had our first date, an entire day of doing cute things and then made out a bit, after he dropped me home, we spoke all night , all genuine cute wholesome stuff and bonding, next morning he asked if he could see me again since he was flying out the next day for a trip. this time when we met, we ended up hooking up. and after that also we were in touch, to the point that this guy called me up and told me everything he’d been doing on the trip. after that day, next day we didn’t talk at all; and i ended up finding out that he’s unfollowed me and he had posted a girl on his page , who clearly is his new exclusive girlfriend. weirdest thing is that he unfollowed me and NO ONE else. he’s got crushes that i know of who he didn’t unfollow, and the way we spoke and everything and him calling me to tell me stuff, only for this to happen in the matter of a day!!! SO WEIRD

It's so weird that he was all over you one day, sharing personal stuff and stuff, and then the next day he's got a new girlfriend and unfollows you specifically. That's just shady and messed up behavior.

My guess is that he was just using you for a quick hookup, and then as soon as he found someone else, he ditched you without a second thought. Some guys are just like that, unfortunately - they'll act all interested and invested, just to get what they want, and then ditch you once they move on to the next thing.

The fact that he unfollowed you but kept following his other crushes makes it seem like he was purposely trying to cut you out of his life. Like he didn't want to have any trace of you around now that he's with this new girl.

It sucks, but it sounds like this guy was never really that into you beyond just wanting a casual hookup. He led you on and then discarded you as soon as he found someone else. What a scumbag move.

You deserve so much better than that, girl. Don't let this experience make you lose faith in dating, though. There are plenty of guys out there who will treat you right and not just use you. Just gotta weed out the jerks like this one.
