I wear leggings, but like slipslender said, I wear them with longer tops so people (like you, for instance) aren't staring at my ass.

And it's not necessarily about confidence. People might not wear them because they're not comfortable in them, or they don't like the style.

I wear them all the time. Infact I wear them more than I wear regular pants. They're a lot easier to move in and I feel frumpy in regular pants for some reason.

It seems like we get told over and over again that "leggings aren't pants" and that men HATE THEM.

On the other hand, and this is just me personally. I like them, and they are comfortable. I'm a busy person, and sometimes I'm just tired and want to be in something that is comfy and flexible such as a pair of leggings and a long, long sleeved tee and some flats sound great.

It has nothing to do with balls/confidence. Some girls just aren't a big fan of showing off their goods. Which leggings definitely do, since they're not meant to be PANTS. If the top is one that's too short to be a dress, and too long to be a shirt, then go for it. But otherwise I just feel like they reveal a bit much for my taste personally, and I know I'm not the only girl who feels that way. I wear leggings sometimes, just not with regular-length tops.

It could be that it's not her fashion style.

I wouldn't wear leggings like that unless you really offered me some money. I just don't find it attractive at all. I think they look good with a dress or a long shirt, but never as pants. Nothing to do with confidence.

I wear leggings, not as jeans/pants but with long shirts or short dresses. I'm not that desperate to get men's attentions by showing my a** to the public.

No offense to anyone, some of us women have more class and secured enough about our looks. I would rather prefer not wear any bottoms and rather go naked than wear leggings as pic #1 (at least I look 90% better/hotter naked than pic). Really guys, what a turn-on about that?

I think it's interesting that you ask this because so many girls are so critical when other girls wear leggings and I think it's because they're insecure becuase they don't have the figure to pull it off. Otherwise, why not just go along with your opinion and live your life instead of being so judgmental

i wear leggings/tights. lots of women do. they usually pair it with longer tops though so that too much attention isn't drawn to the ass area. I think you're only noticing the women who wear shorter tops.

I've just started high school and my pants are basically leggings
So awarkward because they are skin tight and you have to tuck your shirt in so can't even cover my bum lol

Leggings shouldn't be worn with your ass showing. You need a long shirt to cover that up then you're OK to wear them. But if you don't have skinny legs then leggings just don't look good at all
