Why is he asking if I have a boyfriend?

He liked me and I rejected him. 4 years later I went back to him when my relation failed but he rejected me. Now almost after 3 years he is texting me all the time non stop. it is almost 6 times he is asking me if I have a boyfriend.

since you have a lot of history i'd set some boundaries with whatever this is. y'all could have had bad timing but that's never stopped people from cheating. maybe if you are both single it's time to see where it goes? but take it slow
