What does it mean when a man stares at you?

I was walking through a room behind my friend. We were talking and I saw this man walking towards us. He ignored my friend, and was staring at me the whole time he was coming towards us. He was staring at my face/eyes and I glanced at him a few times, until he eventually smiled and said hi to me. He was fixated on me and didn’t avert his gaze. Even my friend pointed it out and thought it was odd.

I’ve noticed that every time we talk, he has a big smile on his face.
Although when I see him in passing and he’s with his friend, he just says “hi” and seems standoffish.

Some guys are just weird like that. He might think his co workers would tease him about you. So don’t let it bother you.

Thank you…. I've seen him stare at me quite a bit. There are times where I’ll look up and catch him staring at me haha. And then like I said he is smiling like a Cheshire Cat every time we talk, and he normally has a resting bitch face
