Why does he quit talking to me for a week and then pop back up apologizing?

He has kids and works so I understand he's busy but... is this a sign I should just move on? Is he pushing boundaries to see how long he can go without speaking? Seems longer each time.

I’d say move on. No one is that busy that they can’t respond. The only time I don’t respond right away is when I know a girl is going to keep going. So it’s never ending. A lot of women do that. They complain he never responds, that all he has to do is answer a simple text. But that simple answer turns into more questions. For example if she asked him why he dumped her. Then he told her she wasn’t his type, she’s took obnoxious or whatever. That would be followed w more questions. So sometimes no it’s never that simple to respond.
The other reason might be that he’s seeing someone else during the week. He’s a single father? How old are his kids?
