It’s my guy friend who got me roses trying to make me jealous? or does he not like me like that?

I know him from my former masters program. We were friends, but I truly didn’t think he was into me like that. Not until I invited my class to my birthday party, and he was one of the only people that came. He got me a huge bouquet of pink roses. And turns out, he added for two dozen more roses to be put in the bouquet. He spent well over $100 on my gift. Very shortly after, I asked him if he wanted to work on a homework assignment together. He said yes, but that he was really busy. And we weren’t able to ultimately.

A few months went by, and he and I were still friends. One night, we’re playing a truth or dare Card game with our friends. In this game, he bought up his ex-girlfriend. He said that he mistreated her in the past, that he felt really badly about it. And that he still thinks that she’s beautiful. Also, he admitted that he was attracted to one of his friends siblings, but that she was way too young for him. Also, he was very interested in talking to a mutual friend of ours rather than me.

Look, I get the world doesn’t revolve around me. That being said, I know that, you don’t give someone flowers unless you’re really into them. So I just want to know if in these past few months, he’s lost his attraction on me? Or is this his way of trying to get me jealous?
