@HollyK21 I'm in Florida, residential real estate is booming. Commercial real estate is booming. Infrastructure projects are booming. Tourism is shattering state records. Companies are relocating corporate headquarters to the state. New factories are being built. A number of grants have popped up to train people in advanced manufacturing and machining. Fuel prices have dropped and so on. Just because things are bad for you in China, doesn't mean they are bad for us in Florida.
So people are selling up in the tourist spots. Wonder why.
No state income tax, friendly business laws, educated population, high level of freedom, good leadership, good weather, nice beaches, good infrastructure, capital for Latin American finance and international business, etc.

In Trumps first term he started an initiative to re-shore American manufacturing and attract foreign manufactures to American shores. He created opportunity zones for development. He also worked with like minded governors in like minded states to make that happen. It is happening.
