The dad bod vs muscle questions that are frequent persist because everyone seems to think something different about what dad bod means. Based on your pictures, I'd choose the dad bod because the second is too muscular for my liking but many people envision something a bit in the pudgy side. There's no real definition for it so that's why this question persists.
