How to deal with a guy rejecting a girl?

Long story short- I messaged a guy I liked a few months ago to tell him that I liked him (I know not the best move) after months of what seemed like mutual attraction. Anyway today I saw him privately and he bought it up and said he’d only just seen it as he doesn’t really check that account… a total of 3 months later. I was taken aback with surprise (as I never expected him to raise it), so I didn’t get to say what I really wanted and why I sent the message in the first place anyway, not that it matters now.

He asked me a number of times “didn’t i think it was weird that he hadn’t replied to me” and I said yes I thought he didn’t care or wasn’t interested. Anyway he tells me he now has a girlfriend (last 3 months), I didn’t know about her until now, so i know that’s it.

Anyway, I’m glad to have the closure but urghh the rejection is hard. How to deal with that?

Now I wonder if he ever liked me (i mean when he was single) but even recently he’d check me out regularly etc, but of course I can accept that’s it now, but do you think he ever liked me?

As a guy, it's nothing new but you seem to have taken it like a champ and can move on. it is odd though you didn't press the matter face to face. The whole digital world comms is out of hand in my opinion.

Well it's not about you it's about how much of a people pleaser her or she is. Some people can't stand to have people think badly of them. On a scale sometimes mild or sometimes severe. Depends on the person and upbringing.

Well, this is really subjective. Everyone has their own way of dealing with things. Some will spend time with friends while some may go on solo vacation etc.
