If a guy is attracted to a girl, does he find it hard to look away?

There’s a guy who will stare at me or look at me but it’s like he finds it hard to turn away or almost like he can’t help it. Is this a real thing if you are attracted to a girl? Why does he find it difficult not to look?

Sometimes I’ll be talking to someone else and he’ll be in view at a distance, realise I’m there and almost try not too look but I see him do it out the corner of his eye. What’s he thinking?

Listen it's one of the key reasons I know I'm not attracted to men. I have never not once had to force myself to look away from a man. No matter how good looking he is esthetically. But a hot girl in in clothing that fits her well. It's like I have magnets in my eyes. There no thought just is. To be honest my girlfriend is bisexual and she is not shy about looking at women either. Which gives me more freedom to gawk. But I don't want to make young girls feel uncomfortable with this old overweight Sasquatch looking at them. So I force myself to look away. The female body is a work of art. Men just aren't.

I have only been like that with one girl. I noticed I kept subconsciously looking her way, and I always took the chance to glance at her when I could.

I am/was very attracted to her. My gaze just always suited towards her way, and I was mostly just observing her almost by instinct. I can't say for certain what it was, but it wasn't just an infatuation. I thought it was at first, but it became clear it wasn't. I wouldn't rule out it being love, but I would need to more solid evidence to declare that.
