i blocked this guy i used to talk to about 2 years ago. he left due distance but i think he lied. anyways i wanted to unblock him because i want to see if he will reach out to me again? i dont talk to anyone ever and maybe we could be friends? will a man come back even if he left? he’s been to my city so many times and never tried to reach out to hang out but maybe if i unblock him he will? it’s pretty shitty but i don’t have any friends or anyone really. maybe if i unblock him , he will reach out?

I don't think anyone would be okay with being blocked and still reach out to you to make things right and be friends.

Since you want to unblock him because you want a friend and would like to be friends with him, I think you should initiate a conversation. Most people wouldn't reach out after getting blocked because of self respect. So, you'll have to make efforts and if he wants to be in touch with you too, he'll definitely respond. Just make sure you guys first clear whatever misunderstanding you both had.

Also, how do you know he lied about things and what lies are you talking about? If he lied about leaving your city, maybe that's because he was trying to avoid you and had no intention in meeting you. In that case, I wouldn't even want to be friends with a guy who lies rather than be honest and clear with his intention.
