I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year now. and he has addictions that I told him I can’t accept. He first was smoking weed and the pen. He would do it when he woke up and all through out the day. he is been saying he will change etc for months and I gave him a chance. He then, hid from me that he started smoking again until I caught him in the bathroom, and confronted him about it. now he just told me he is banning himself from gambling (another addiction) We had an argument the other day about that bc I saw that notification about the casino on his phone and he was denying it and telling

Me he used it only to look at the scores” point is, I love that man dearly, but I think I can’t compromise any longer and trust him. It’s hard should I break up?

But don't feel like you have to stick around and keep giving him chances if he can't follow through. At a certain point, you have to protect your own mental health and happiness. Don't be afraid to walk away if that's what you need to do.

It sounds like he definitely has some problems he needs to address. I drink and smoke more than I should, but I haven't had any real issues stopping when I needed to. You should consider giving him an ultimatum or just end it.

Gambling can lead to ruin , so he need to go to therapy and break that or he’ll end up broke
