Do White guys even actually like Latinas?

I always heard the myth that many White guys love Latinas, and that some of them even want a Latina girlfriend or wife, but I've never really seen it. I've gotten hit on by all kinds of different men; Latinos, Black, Arab etc. I haven't had any lack of male attention, but the men who have hit on me or checked me out the least, I've noticed have been White guys.

And before you say that maybe they're just not attracted to me, I also live in a state with large percentages of both Whites and Latinos and I haven't seen too many Latina female/White male couples.

I've seen plenty of White guys saying that they like Latinas online, so why don't they seem to approach Latin women? Is the idea that they like us just exaggerated? I'm just curious anyway.

Most Latin American's are White. Latin America was colonized by Europeans. So it's pretty normal for White's to marry other Whites especially when they share common religion (i. e. Christianity). So when you see White Latin Americans migrate legally to the USA, it's common for them to date White American men. Speaking a second language doesn't change your race.

For example Argentina is 97% White and Brazil is 47.7% White, but 80-90% of the wealthy Latin Americans are White. They are typically the Latin Americans that travel to the USA legally and integrate into states like Florida where as you see a lot of Mestizo and Blacks jump the southern border illegally because they are poor and uneducated and willing to break the law and disrespect the culture of other nations. So the legal, educated, more wealthy Latin Americans that move to the USA and respect the American culture integrate into society more easily. Most often they are Whites. Where are the poor, uneducated, criminals, that hate America and break our laws sneak across the southern border illegally and are rejected by society. They most often are not White.

Both subsets of people are still Latino/Latina being that their first language is a Latin derived language (Spanish/Portuguese), but clearly they differ in traits. The White Latinas from middle to upper class families who are often college educated and work in similar sectors of the economy as other Whites, attend the same colleges and churches, live in the same neighborhoods, shop in the same stores, eat in the same restaurants, follow the laws, legally obtain citizenship, speak the English language fluently, etc. are obviously going to have a lot more in common with middle class White America than some Mestizo border jumpers that don't speak English clearly, lack education, come from impoverished families, maybe are associated with Satanic gangs like MS-13 and sell drugs on corners in San Francisco. The two separate groups of Latinas live in different words as it were.

I am a white guy who is very attracted to Latina women. I have dated them. I live in an area that is (I think) about 40% Latino. The culture can be very different and that can be an obstacle. I tend to like weekends to be somewhat to myself and the lady who I am dating. In that culture it is customary to surround one's self with friends and relatives, and it isn't always my thing. Not saying good or bad, just not always my thing. But yeah, I DO like Latina women!

A lot of them are very attractive and they look after the men in their lives. It's how I was raised also but being in America now i don't often see it.

Attraction has nothing to do with race

Attraction has something to do with frequency, as in the frequency that an attribute appeals to you.

Race has something to do with frequency, as in race is defined by the frequency of something (typically observable with the naked eye).

Simplistically, it's things like pigmentation or complexion (darker skin), types of hair (flat/straight), facial structures (thinner eyes), etc. A more complicated explanation might be DNA, genetics, or ancestry.

But I'm not interested in arguing over what race is, but I can very clearly point to black people and notice the pattern, or frequency, that their skin is darker than mine. And the rates at which varying degrees of pigmentation or melanin interest me DO vary. Same with other noticeable patterns (frequencies).

So while I'm sure you mean well and we'd probably both agree that most people would be attracted to some people in all races, or that other factors are often much more of an impact/priority, attraction often does have something to do with race.

Whether it's a primary factor in most people or not is up for debate, but it often does have something to do with it.
