For context, say the 2 young adults in question had just met that day at camp. He's volunteering at a booth, and she learned that he comes from the same country as her so she approached him. The first conversation was magnetic since they came from the same background, spoke the same language, shared the same faith, and had many family similarities (father's went to the same college etc). In that first conversation he made sure to add her on IG, and even facetimed his mom (and showed her on the call to his mom!).
She felt pulled to him, and so went to his booth 2 more times that day to chat. With each conversation they learned more about their past (with him sharing about his troublesome teenage years), he asked about her age, and they found out that he's 3 years older. (He's 36, she's 33), and he asked her to video him making a promo video.
He told her to come back the next morning, but he wasn't there when she went. He lives on the other end of the country, so now the only way to connect would be online. As the girl in this situation (obviously LOL), I felt hope. He felt like home.
Before he flew home he did some sightseeing, so I DM'd him wishing him a safe flight and asking him if the attraction he saw was worth it or if (state) still owed him? He viewed it immediately and replied (somewhat dryly in my opinion), that "the attraction was nice but that there was more to see in (state)." Since then he's viewed all of my IG stories (pretty quickly), but hasn't replied or reacted to any of them.
If he were truly interested, would he take his time? We've only seen each other in person for about 30 mins total, hence why I think he might be in the "observation" phase. Or he could genuinely not be interested.
Even with him being the charismatic, confident, outgoing type - would he still make those moves in person that seem to me to show intention and interest? (Asking age, FACETIMING his mom... etc?) But then why the silence now?

He should be feeling your interest and should resonate. Probably he isn't too in it yet
Is it possible he's just taking time to learn more, before initiating? Because in person it seemed there was interest there by the things he did...
You have shown interest enough for him to graduate to next level. Usually, men dont take this much time
Has she? What interest?
Stop tip toeing around and act like an adult ffs
what do you want me to do? I think I've made it pretty clear already from my side...
How have you 'made it clear'?
showed up to this booth 3 times to keep chatting - opening a DM conversation (which he didn't try to continue...). that's not enough?
Lol... not enough? That's nothing tbh.
yes its good to know.
