Guys, if a girl you met through sport added you on Insta, will you accept it?

I first met him through volleyball games. At the start, our interactions were small, but during tournaments he sometimes became the setter. He would ask me softly if the ball was okay, encourage me when I was afraid to spike, and gave me thumbs up when I got points. Even small things like him getting the ball for me made me notice him more.

Later, I found out that we actually work in the same area. By coincidence, I even saw him at the same restaurant we went to — which made me feel like the world is small sometimes.

Slowly, I realized I had caught feelings. Last week, I sent him a friend request on Instagram, but he hasn’t accepted. I don’t know what he thinks, and now I’m stuck between wanting to move on and still hoping. BUT, it is not that he inactive, I realized he have approved other people's follow request or might following others because his followers & following increased.. but, I still saw him at the restaurant

Because.. we just met through this sport for 4 times, and I don't know what to talk to him. I tried to add him on insta but he didn't aprrove nor delete the friend request.. furthermore, he is likely a smart guy.. I just feel shy

don't have the chance to see him again or play volleyball.. since we rarely play. Thats why I add him on insta.. and we are not that close also..
