Is he interested?

there is a barista who is above average friendly towards me. Every time i order, I have to tell him my name and he remembered my name since day 1. On the second time I went to order, I didn't even have to tell him my name. He even told me I even had a nice name (he was kinda shy about it and said it really quietly/ quickly that I almost couldn't detect it). I thought he was just complimenting me for extra tips.

A few weeks later, I went in the cafe again. Besides that he still remembered my name, he even said a little cute "hi helen" towards the end of my order. Definitely above average friendly in my unfriendly city. I was shocked, this guy is the friendliest guy I have ever met. Most men avoid talking to me or are afraid of showing interest. I have never seen a barista who was that friendly.
I did notice that he was friendlier toward me than other customers. I have no idea why. Maybe its because he recognizes me? But I don't think I am the only person he knows. The cafe has a lot of frequent locals.
So I decided to tell him that he was very good at his job. He was so flustered that he couldn't reply and blushed. Later he ended up saying "it means a lot". then looked at me again and said "coming from you"...

It was the "coming from you" that caught me off guard. Do you think this guy might like me? OR is he just a skilled at kissing people's ass for more tips?
