I'm not sure he was sending any singles and I was just looking at him with rose colored glasses. But I honestly feel really really stupid for trying to ask him out at all. I've never tried to ask someone out before and it was a really stupid I'dea.

If you hadn't asked you probably would have wondered about it for years. You were brave and asked so you can move on now. it's not stupid to follow your heart, but sadly things don't always work out how we had hoped.
