Is it normal that men don't greet me?

I'm 29f, I live in a building where people tend to say hi in the elevators as a way of being polite. Its common to see mothers telling their children to always say hi or bye as they enter or leave the elevator. But I have noticed that only women or gay men or old grandpas who greet me. If he is a young man under 60, he won't say anything. He will just walk in pretending he doesn't see me. I don't know if this is something every other woman also experiences or is it just something about me that is unattractive?

What’s happening in your apartment elevator isn’t exactly what’s happening everywhere else. You are most likely to see your neighbors day to day so it makes sense for some or most to be polite. Just because the young men aren’t matching that energy doesn’t make you ugly.

That's pretty normal these days. Guys try to avoid doing anything that might make women uncomfortable. Sometimes it goes a bit far.
