Men: when you shower what do you wash yourself with?

Please explain in the comments guys and give honest feedback. My boyfriend currently only uses his hands and shower gel and I’ve never known this before. Is this normal or not? As every other guy I’ve known uses something to wash with other than his hands. And I don’t want to cause offence by bringing this up as he’s likely to get offended. Hence why I’d like your feedback. And ladies, what does your man use? Please select the option your partner uses. Thanks 😊

Wow I’m really suprised by the answers so far here guys and girls!! But thank you for your honest feedback, it’s appreciated. Maybe I’m just being a bit too fussy, but being a trained nurse and beauty therapist I also understand why certain things are more beneficial too.

My husband use only shower gel and hand, and it’s better and more hygienic than use sponge or shower puff. It’s less bacteria and fungal. Sponges and puffs or any other things like that stay damp, especially in humid bathrooms, becoming perfect places for bacteria or fungi.

Yeah. Not if a clean one is used though, it provides gentle exfoliation to remove more of the dead skin cells and sebum and bacteria that builds up on the skin etc. But thank you for your reply, it’s helpful.

I honestly don’t know what he uses. He has a shower caddy thing for his hall’s bathroom/shower. Never bothered to take inventory of what’s in there.

I have a shared bathroom with three roommates. We have to color differentiate loofas so we don’t…ya know.

I’ve always just used my hands and soap. I’ve tried wash cloths before but don’t care for them. I feel I get everything cleaner by scrubbing with my hands and nails

I use one of those cheap loofah things with body wash. Old Spice Captain if you're nosey.

No real need for anything beyond that, sometimes a pouff if I can’t scrub dirt off after soccer or something.

Most of the time just my hands but certain parts need to be scrubbed a little bit better so you have to use a cloth

I use Dr. Bronners Castile bar soap w a wash cloth. Sometimes I’ll just use the bar of soap w my hands.
