Why is it, that we always make this insane eye contact?

So, I really wish I had time frames and timestamps. But if I had to guess I want to say about five to maybe four months ago, this guy and I started speaking at work. He randomly, honestly just came out of nowhere. There was a situation that I had with him early on. It wasn't anything major, but he asked me about doing his job that our supervisor did not assign me to. So I let her know and she just wasn't having it. So she mentioned to him at that time, to not further engage into any other conversation other than a hi and bye. So that went on for a good while. Then as time went on, he proceeded to start the process back up as far as communication again with me. The second time around he was being very friendly, an overly nice and complimented me and mentioning how he enjoys me working there with them. So I honestly, didn't understand this behavior other than it sounds like he might have a thing for me, or possibly interested in me or maybe just being friendly. So fast forwarding. After maybe a month or two went by I took it to our supervisor again and discuss that I think a formal co-worker may be interested in me. So I discuss my interest with her about him. So I told her not to say anything to him, and of course she did it complete opposite. I don't need to have her that conversation. Just know as an empath, I just knew she said something to him. Because I want to say a week later his behavior has changed towards me rapidly. He definitely has pulled back, and nowadays it's like when he talks to me, we're speaking in code language, or make eye contact with each other. He wants to speak, it's typically small talk but to me it seems like our small talk seems like we're in sync with each other. And I can tell that he's very relaxed, but he seems to be very nervous. And I noticed with other colleagues and if he's around them or they are around me. He won't say deadly squad, and sometimes barely make eye contact with me. What could be the case now?

You told the supervisor about him two times and not expect him to avoid you? Now you kept thinking why he's pulling away.. if you fancy this guy just let him know sis.

So, basically he has no other choice to basically back off. But even I'm sure when she mentioned to him about keeping things a hi and by and keep it moving. He does just as that with me, yes. But, there are other times, that he will approach me and sometimes have a little bit longer conversations with me, or lingers around me or where I am at. But nowadays! When we're passing each other, that can be him coming into another building where I am at, me on the elevator and he's waiting for one, or just passing by. And if we do decide to talk. I know is eye contact and of course anybody can give direct eye contact... read on below

But the last time that we looked at each other with communication with our other coworker around. She noticed him and I will keep flirting, or what we were both doing with our mouths lol. It got super awkward and very quiet this was last week on Thursday. And she started giggling and laughing and said okay then LMAO. And he snapped out it before I did and we both giggled lol. Then just this past week when she was coming downstairs to assist me or to give me further instructions about my work and task and duties to do. He was right behind her. So she comes in the supply closet where I was, but I noticed he kept his head down low, and didn't make any eye contact with me at that time. And when she left out after she explained everything to me. He lingered a little bit longer than decided to leave. But as I was watching him, he had his head held down. I would assume that he was checking her out or maybe even on his phone.. But nothing, he was standing behind her a bit. So I said to myself maybe he's crushing on her as well. But I know she has a boyfriend. But then I said maybe he's just trying to keep a low profile, and not get catch with watching me again lol. But my thing is what's the worst that can happen if they do see him and I actually conversating longer than just a few minutes. I mean they might have told him some other stuff and maybe even try to fire him. But if all we're just doing is conversating, then why is he sneaking in secrecy to talk with me alone by myself. Smh
