How does one know?

Ok so how do you know if a guy at school/work etc is developing a crush? And im not talking he'll look at you more, he'll try and talk to you. I'm talking like you normally don't talk to this man and you have suspicions that he's crushing and you might slightly be crushing but don't want to overthink it. How does one find out this information when he's not part of your friend circle?

So if he comes into my class like clockwork when he's supposed to "be in the bathroom" and nowhere near my class, doesn’t talk to me he talks to his coach and discreetly looks at me walking in the hallways and opens the door i should take it as a good sign?

Yes, those are good signs.

Someone who isn’t interested wouldn’t keep showing up in places that have nothing to do with him, especially that consistently.

He’s probably shy or still testing the waters.

Hell tell his teacher he's going to the bathroom but then he comes into my class to "talk to his coach" is what he says. But he apparently checks me out all the time but I've never actually noticed that and he smiles at me in the hallways. But something that made me thing he really is crushing is he was walking in the halls with his friends and I got behind them and one of them looked at me and went "Dude she was literally behind us the whole time."
