Does my coworker like me, jist beinh shy/nervous?

I started a new job several months ago and there is a guy my age who has been showing subtle signs that he may like me, such as staring at me, getting right close in my space, sitting next to me on break, etc. We don't talk much at work, but I text him sometimes, which he reads texts but told me he gets busy and that's why he responds to me in person and doesn't seem to mind me texting him. I told him I like him and after that he would look at me, but quickly look away when I looked back at him, but he kept walking by me and running his hands through his hair everytime he walk by me, plus he keeps walking right by me/standing close to me, always quick to help me and stares/watches me from a distance. I tried to add him to social media, but he has not accepted but also hasn't denied it. Is he just really nervous? Or being shy? One time when I told him I thought he is very good looking the next day at work the song "you're beautiful" came on and he sang the words "you're beautiful" right around me. What do I make of this? I sense he likes me, but is just shy.

He is probably both nervous and shy, but not only.

What do you know about this guy? Is he in a relationship? Does he have a girlfriend (or boyfriend)? Does he maybe not want to start a relationship?

Coming close to you or acting the way he does is not a sure way to tell whether this person is someone comfortable being in a relationship and you don't want to be the person that is responsible for his relationship to be jeopardized if you insist.

Have you given a thought that perhaps his girlfriend watches his social media and by you following him, might upset her and that is why he does not act on your request?

Maybe he doesn't want to get fired. If you or him actually need that job, maybe you shouldn't be flirting at work. You're there to work.
