and already we got a dude claiming women will just make shit up, make false accusations against them. frankly any dudes who do that i am very wary of. they are highly highly overblown and there's a saying that every accusation is a confession... yeah i think that applies here too. get over yourselves if you think this way.

If a man can't "trust himself" to be alone with a woman, even in so innocuous a setting as an elevator, then he clearly needs to work on his deep self control issues.

They think they're being proactive, by avoiding situations such as that, but what they really are is pathetic. Growing up, I never really understood why women fear men, but stories like this make me understand the women, but not the men.

I'm fully capable of controlling myself, and would never even consider otherwise, so it makes me wonder just what is broken inside the men that act like that. If you want to act like an animal, or are "afraid" you might, then do society a favor, and go live in the jungle.

I know a young woman who rejected a man who went on to stab two women, killing one. They have good reason to be afraid. If I avoided taking a lift with a woman, it would be so she wouldn't be worried, not because I would be worried about what either of us would do.

Once I became an adult, it made sense to me why women fear men, and I've always done what I could to minimize the perception that I'm dangerous to them. It just angers me that there are guys out there like that.

I'm not going to do anything to a woman, regardless. My job coach is female, and we've been in elevators alone multiple times since August. Nothing has happened (including me getting a job). If you can't trust yourself alone in an elevator with a woman, that's a serious problem you have.
