How old were you when you first had to shave?

I’m referring to significant facial hair that had to be removed to look “clean cut”. I think many of us were pretending to shave early because we wanted to be like Dad, or we thought it was kool. Do you remember how old you were when you first had to shave? I was fifteen and i had a job where males couldn’t have facial hair. There was one woman with a mustache that everyone pretended to not notice, but that’s a whole other topic. Ell oh ell!
What is the youngest that any guy you know needed to start shaving? There was a kid in my eighth grade class who had a full mustache and had “five o’clock shadow” by the end of the skool day. He was built like a man too. He might have been from the “21 Jump Street” PD, but his story was that he spent a lot of time in juvenile detention. Anyway, assuming he wasn’t the worst undercover cop in our tiny town’s history, eighth grade means he was probably between fourteen and seventeen. I don’t know if they’re allowed to keep up with skool work in the joint. So maybe he was held back. I never knew his actual age. I just always assumed he was a freak of nature at my age. Ell oh ell!
