Why would a stranger in an elevator look at my feet before my face?

For context, I can't tell if this guy was judging me, I wore wedge sandals and had nail polish on, we were standing in an elevator and that's when I ntocied form my peripheral that he Infact started looking at my feet briefly before moving his eyes up to my face. The glances at my face were brief though, only 1 or 2 quick ones. I didn't make eye contact, I just stared straight ahead the whole time

Maybe it’s non of those. Some people look down when they’re shy or want to avoid contact. Especially if you’re in an elevator alone w a female. You don’t want to be accused of something so there’s a good chance he was just trying to stick to himself, avoid contact. I tend to do that myself.

I think we're aorund the same age but I'm not sure so here's another thing that happened with another guy on the same day : The thing is this other is in my class, I have a crush on him but I never speak to him and he did kind of the same thing? Like he literally stood opposite me and looked down at his phone and whole I was talking to my friend, I could have sworn I saw him glance back and forth at my feet through my peripheral vision

Okay thank you good to know. I would approach him but I'm not a home wrecker I kind of want to know though if he is actually somewhat into me, because I low key enevr met a guy who was my actual type and there's a level of awkwardness between us for some reason, so yeah without messing up his relationship, I kind of what clarity that I'm not reading into things. Based on what I've told you already though, with this guy that I have a crush on, what do you think?
