I've heard if the man it weaker in both domains and he can't do his fair shair of physical protection and having some money to provide the woman and potential family she is likely to get resentful of him and lose respect. So even if they agreed to it shed probably lose respect over time and he'd feel hounded over time. Women typically want a guy to be physically stronger than her biologically even if she and he somehow are okay with her also trumping him financially by a lot.

I guess he needs to show competence but with his own initiative, the right women will naturally admire some leader qualities so long as he is based in things he can control like physique, social calibration, a trade or job even if it doesn't pay the best.

Most men love a strong woman… as long as her strength doesn’t trigger their insecurity. Emotionally mature guys want a woman who’s independent, chooses them, not needs them.

Needing a man financially or physically attracts controlling, lovebombing, low‑value men. Being strong, soft, feminine, and self-sufficient? That’s the combo that drives healthy men crazy.

Well for mine if he’s ok w her being financially dependent on him that’s ok if that’s what he wants. But too it also has to come w parameters. I don’t think most men are going to be ok w her wanting this n that as far as stuff we really don’t need. For instance if she wants a $1000 purse, if Jenna’s the means to than ok. But too he shouldn’t just spoil her all the time just cause he has the means to. Yes men want a girl who can do things on her own at times when she needs to. Not some woman who is constantly helpless that she can’t even do simple little things. Men aren’t to big on completely independent women, for most men it’s a turn off because she usually has the qualities of a man. Men don’t want to go home to mother men. So there has to be a balance there. I think most men know physically she’s going to need him in a lot of situations that require physical strength. But yes there has to be a balance. I’ve been w my girl for 25 years, she hasn’t worked since our 4th year together.

It depends on what you're calling a "strong woman". A self absorbed internet "influencer" with a delusional sense of entitlement screaming she's a strong woman when she has no career and mountains of credit card debt is NOT my vision of a "strong woman". That's just a loudmouthed asshole with mental problems. No I don't like that... other than the comedic value of watching them rant.

A truly intelligent, calm, secure, competent woman who knows her value and is capable of introspective thought. She's not a doormat for anyone and she has opinions. She holds herself accountable. That is the holy grail.

So what if she's a stay at home mom by choice? She may be married, and she provides great leadership for her kids and support for her husband. She's not making money. Is she a weakling and a failure? Does money define a woman's worth? Or does it provide safety and security?

There's certainly nothing wrong with a woman making her own money and having a sense of accomplishment from her career. Likewise having her own opinions and making her own decisions is good. But in a pair, compromise is almost always necessary. If she can't do that, it's a red flag.

"Needing" a man is a red flag. Wanting a man is a different matter. Needing to constantly prove you don't need a man is just damaged and once again, a red flag. You'd be better off alone. Why inflict your insecurities on some poor guy who's left wondering what your problem is?

So she can do everything? Another red flag. That's delusional. None of us do everything well. We all have strengths and weaknesses. What usually works well is a man and a woman pairing up to compliment each other's skillset. They each teach and learn from the other.

Depends on the man. I prefer a woman to be strong and independent, when it makes sense to be independent. Both of my wives are like that. Some of the women I've dated were like that, while others were not.
