Why do I get hit on more when I wear my clear glasses out?

I’m 20F and I wear these clear glasses pretty often. My prescription isn’t even that bad, but I’m just used to wearing them and I like how they look. They go with everything and I also just like being able to actually see who I’m talking to.

But, I’ve realized that when I go out with my glasses on, I get hit on more than when I don’t wear them. Like I still get hit on without them, it’s not like that never happens, but it definitely happens more when I have them on and I don’t really get why.

I don’t know if it’s like the “smart” look or if it makes me seem more approachable or what, but there’s definitely a difference. Has anyone else noticed this or know why this might be a thing? I’m curious if there’s actually some psychology behind it.

Before assuming there's some psychology behind it, we first need to assume that your experiment is controlled and also assume that this experiment is about others instead of you.

Because you could very much act/behave differently when you have glasses then we don't know who's really tested for that experiment, you or them?

Because your experiment is not controlled and is not reproduced then it isn't reliable to ensure any conclusion other than bad psychology or its equivalent: Astrology.

maybe... it is just as simple as, you being very attractive so people hit on you often without the glasses on

and then, the way in which those specific glasses might frame the features on your face to be even more attractive in a particular way, so even more people might hit on you on the daily

personally... I AM a fan, of glasses and how they can frame the eyes, go with the hair and all that... and also, just how kind of makes the girl to focus more on what they see... lmfao

and I know this very well, because of a couple of my exes would wear their reading glasses sometimes and... DAYUM

Maybe they think you’re more approachable. You have a pretty face if that’s you and it may intimidate some guys. Also, smart guys might subconsciously assume you’re smart too (which you probably are) and feel more drawn to you because of that.

I don't wear mine out in public, like ever really, but guys seem to like pictures where I have them on better, almost unanimously. I don't know what it is either

Because people can see your eyes.

Shooting headshot photos taught me we don't realize how much human connection takes place through the eyes.
