I would say that he is successful. Super successful? I guess that depends on his goals and lifestyle. Probably also depends on where he lives. I am not from the UK. I do know that like anywhere certain areas will be more expensive than others.

I don't known if that would cut it in the wealthy areas or not. Doesn't sound like it to me. Will he become rich? Again depends on his definition or rich. Some people don't view tons of money as being rich in life.

Basing success on just monetary values I would say he's doing alright for himself.

But a successful life also includes relationships, health, career, family, friends popularity, fulfilment, happiness and probably more besides in a successful person.
