You sound great. No guy wants someone who is constanly dependent and expects everything on a silver platter. Sometimes we are intimidated by women like you. You have a lot to offer, and we're afraid we won't be able to stand on the same level. And guys do like a woman with a nerdy/quirky side. They're more fun and interesting than close-minded, shallow bimbos. Don't worry too much about it right now and focus on finishing school. The good guys are doing this and that's why they aren't available at the moment. I know you can feel extremely lonely, but the wait will pay off. As for being picky, that's a good thing. Too many women settle on losers who drain them of money and much more. Plus, the losers don't really give a damn about you and will find someone who has more.

Well it's a plus that a girl is going to have her own money and isn't going to take half of my stuff during a divorce. But in terms of attractiveness it doesn't really do anything negative or positive for me, it's other things that make me feel attracted to someone than the job they do.
Another negative is that they will be so focused with their work they will have little time for you, so what's the point of dating someone you are only going to see very little of
it's a few steps down from being a doctor actually :)

Ambitious women are extremely attractive and sexy. To me a woman that looks to have her own, be independent, and strong is the best type of women, other than the ones that give up quickly. Just being honest, no need down vote. I'm trying to own my own agency and the women I know say that's a huge turn on, so I think it's the same way a lot of men look at ambitious women.
A girl that's extremely career oriented is an pretty big turn off personally. I like the thought of sweeping a girl off her feet and taking care of her myself. I just don't like the thought of a woman I'm with having to work, I'd rather her pursue her true passions in life while I take care of all the work and financial problems. Feels like it's my duty as a man. I mean, if I can't provide for her then what the hell use do I biologically have anyway?
