Eating food of each others plates..just friends or more?

Do you share food with your guy/gal friends or does it indicate you are interested in them?

I share food with 'just friends' all the time, it's not a big deal for me and doesn't mean anything. It might mean something for someone else though, someone who doesn't share so casually with their friends. I'm just the kind of person who shares anything I've got with the people who are close to me, and it has nothing to do with 'liking' them. Of course I may also share food with a friend I like as more than a friend, but I mean that I'm not any LESS likely to share with someone who IS just a friend to me. So me sharing food with you wouldn't be a good indicator of anything specific, lol.

It doesn't have to mean anything. I share food with my best guy friends all the time and it has nothing to do with romantic interest, just curiosity for what their food tastes like or hunger in general. It could mean something, but I would look for other signs.

Omg I hate sharing food! I would share food if we order a plate together and agree that we would share it. But people eating off my plate isn't acceptable it eats me alive lol! I don't share food it ruins my meal.

I don't do it often. I usually get the food that I want to eat, no need for me to eat someone else's food, unless it's for a taste.

If people ask for a bite, I'll give it to them. But no one had better take my food without asking.

My friend/co-worker and I share food everyday. It doesn't imply flirting for us. We just like food and share with each other for the fun of it.

Okay so I had a guy friend of mine over last night and I have some whipped cream in a can. I sprayed some in my mouth (cause I'm weird like that) lol and then I offered it to my friend. My husband told me I was being Disrespectful and inconsiderate to him because I offered my friend the can of whipped topping. I am a very kind and considerate person so what ever I have I share with my family and friends. Heck I will give a random person a cigarette if they ask. Was what I did Disrespectful to my S. O?
Please help, I'm confused about this.
Was I in the wrong? I offered him some he said no he doesn't eat whipped cream.

I share food sometimes or drinks too with friends. It doesn't necessarily mean that I'm interested in them - it just means that I'm comfortable enough that it doesn't bother me.

I really do not think of it as a show of interest, I do that with my friends all the time lol.
