Does it mean a guy likes you when he texts or calls everyday and calls you sweety and hun?

We have talked everyday, whether through text or on the phone, for the past month. Most of it is just normal chit chat, but some things get more personal. He calls me chica, sweety and hun in some of the texts. Does this mean he likes me for more than friends? Yes I know I should just ask him, but I thought I would try this first. Thanks! :)

3. You are not dating and he has not asked you out for a date yet.

Conclusion: This guy is a flirty guy who uses words like that for fun and it doesn't mean much. When a 30-something guy keeps talking but isn't asking you out, but calls you pet names, he is either a flirt or a player. Put it this way, most guys just don't go there until they are in a relationship. Cutesy names are not most guys M.O. Only flirty types have no problem throwing stuff like this out there.

I just say that because the guy I'm kinda seeing has a good heart and calls me hun and honey and sweetie. And I'm not sure if he calls anyone else something like that but I know he likes me (we're becoming friends first before we go out).

I would say he might like you.. but kind of odd at 30not being a man and just asking you out.. maybe he got played by a girl and is playing it safe.. who knows? ask him out for coffee or something
